CHECKPOINT 3 - INTERACTION

This week has been a good week with more things added into the game and it safe to say that it is pretty much on target. It is quite exciting to see that the game is slowly showing its shape.

But first, let us talk about this week checkpoint: Interaction. There are quite a few interactions happening in the game:

- Interaction with environment: clicking the trees to produce resources (completed 2 weeks ago)

- Player interaction with the resources: picking up resources from the ground then teleporting them into the shelves (completed last week)

- Interaction by clicking and dragging ingredients from the shelves into several types of cooking equipment available in the kitchen environment (just completed this week)

- Player interaction with the equipment: to begin cooking or to destroy/reset ingredients (just completed this week)

- Interaction by clicking and dragging the dishes to send to the counter and therefore add money as points (just completed this week)

As we can see, this week has accomplished lots of good stuff. On top of that, I have also worked on:

- Implementation of the interaction system into different types of cooking equipment, resulting in more variety in creation of the dishes (there are 5 possible dishes to create so far, using 5 different types of equipment).

- Basic recipe book UI

- Basic cooking timer UI

- Basic Text money UI

- Basic game timer (5 minutes for each game)

The plan to make customer order from last week has been postponed, hopefully I can get it done within the next week, along with adding more dishes to create and slowly improving UI and other details.
